Bradford: A City of LibrariesLibraries are safe spaces for everyone and anyone, and they have a huge part to play in culture, community and well-being.Bradford Libraries celebrate their 150th anniversary this year (2022) and to find out more about this landmark occasion, we speak to Bradford Libraries development officer, Dionne Hood.

Dionne Hood (Dee) is a true Bradfordian, born and brought up in Bradford and surrounding area. Dee went to university in Loughborough and studied 3D Design (ceramics). After graduating, she worked as a lecturer in Keighley and Bradford colleges. Dee later joined the library service as a library team leader and has been a Development Officer for 10 years. Dee has as just completed a Masters in Visual Arts.
